Prince Harry wants to restore relations with his father, King Charles III, and his elder brother, Prince William. The Duke of Sussex said this in an interview with GQ magazine. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Kursiv Media.

"Given everything that is going on in the world, the most important thing is reconciliation," he said.

Harry's relationship with his relatives deteriorated after he and his wife Meghan stepped back from royal duties and moved to California in 2020. The couple subsequently publicly criticized the royal family.

The prince acknowledged that he is worried about the difficult relationship with his father and brother. According to him, such situations are familiar to many people, which is why his family's story attracts such interest.

"There are disagreements between brothers and sisters, relationships deteriorate between children and their parents, children and one of their parents," he said.

Harry believes that efforts to restore relations could also help other families cope with their own conflicts.

"Some people don't want us to succeed. And I want us to succeed," he added.

The Duke of Sussex emphasized that although "scars remain forever," he calls for leaving the past behind.

Harry also spoke about returning to the UK with Meghan and their two children. According to him, the opportunity to send the children to a British school was especially important to him.

At the time the interview was recorded, the children had already been attending classes for two weeks. As the prince said, they enjoy their studies, which give them new experiences.
