On Tuesday, June 9, a G2-class magnetic storm was recorded on Earth in the morning, closing the wave of geomagnetic disturbances at the start of the week. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Kursiv Media.

Experts from the Laboratory of Solar Astronomy at IKI and ISZF RAS estimated the probability of this event at 85%. Activity is expected to subside by noon, and after 12:00, disturbances will completely cease. Calm conditions will persist until the evening of Thursday, June 11.

However, earlier experts had forecast a strong storm for the middle of the month, on June 11–12. The cause of the sharp change in space weather was a dense stream of solar material. Earth is entering the plume of a coronal mass ejection triggered by an M1.8-class flare that occurred on the Sun on June 6.

Doctors advise limiting intense physical exertion and avoiding stressful situations during peak activity periods. It is recommended to drink more clean water to maintain normal vascular tone and strictly adhere to a sleep schedule. People with chronic cardiovascular diseases should keep their prescribed medications on hand.

Earlier, Kursiv reported that on Saturday morning, June 6, scientists recorded a G2-class magnetic storm.
