The government of Kazakhstan plans to invest about $470 million in geological exploration. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.

According to the government, these funds will be used to discover new deposits and expand the country's mineral resource base. The investments will be utilized between 2026 and 2028.

Financing will come mainly from the state budget, with plans to attract private investors as well. Exploration work will be carried out in various regions of the country, including the search for rare earth metals and hydrocarbons.

Government officials say these measures will stimulate economic growth and help create new jobs. In addition, modern technologies and methods will be used to improve the efficiency of geological exploration.
