Geely's official distributor in Kazakhstan has announced the price of the new Atlas. The all-wheel-drive crossover with a 2-litre turbo engine and an 8-speed automatic will be offered in three trims, with a starting price of 12.9 million tenge. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Kursiv Media.

This concerns a new generation of the model, although the Atlas retains its previous factory index, the CMA platform and a wheelbase of 2777 mm. In China, this vehicle is known as the Geely Boyue L.

The exterior has changed noticeably. At the front there is a large radiator grille, a new bumper and a light bar spanning the full width of the body. The crossover's length has grown to 4706 mm.

The interior has also been reworked. A 10.2-inch digital instrument panel is installed in front of the driver, while a 15.4-inch multimedia screen is positioned in the centre.

For the Kazakhstani Atlas, a single powertrain is declared – a 2-litre turbo engine producing 245 hp and 380 Nm of torque. It works in tandem with an 8-speed Aisin automatic and all-wheel drive. Acceleration to 100 km/h takes 7.9 seconds.

The most affordable Atlas in the Premium trim costs 12.9 million tenge. Equipment includes 19-inch wheels, perforated artificial leather, electric driver's seat adjustment, heating for the front and rear seats, a heated steering wheel and windshield, an electric tailgate and a 360-degree surround view.

The Flagship will cost 13.5 million tenge. The extra payment provides a panoramic roof, ventilation for the front seats, driver's seat memory, dual-zone climate control, a Flyme Sound audio system with 16 speakers and a projection display. The set of electronic assistants is also expanded.

The top-of-the-range Exclusive requires an additional 300,000 tenge. Its main exterior distinction is 20-inch wheels and a two-tone body finish with black trim elements.

Earlier, Kursiv Auto reported that Geely may establish production of vehicles from its brands in neighbouring Kyrgyzstan.
