Geely has officially unveiled the new Galaxy TT electric sedan. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Kursiv Media.

According to Carnewschina, the new model will hit the Chinese market in August and become one of the main competitors to the Xiaomi SU7.

Externally, the Galaxy TT indeed resembles the acclaimed Xiaomi SU7. The car features a sleek silhouette with a sloping roof, a retractable rear spoiler, and a full-width LED light bar at the rear. A lidar is also mounted on the roof, hinting at advanced driver assistance systems.

In terms of dimensions, the Galaxy TT almost reaches business-class size: the body length is 4,999 mm, and the wheelbase is 2,920 mm.

The electric sedan is built on an 800-volt architecture and will be offered with battery capacities of 52.5, 63.8, or 75.2 kWh. The range on the largest battery reaches up to 725 km.

Inside, the second-generation Flyme Auto system is installed, featuring multiple displays and augmented reality projection on the windshield.

Engineers have also provided numerous storage spaces: a 110-liter front trunk, a main trunk with a volume of 475 liters, an additional compartment under the floor, a pull-out glove box, a niche under the rear seat, and a cooled box.

Base trims will be equipped with a standard set of electronic assistants. More expensive versions will receive a lidar and an expanded driver assistance system capable of handling more complex driving scenarios.

The price of the Galaxy TT has not yet been disclosed. It is only known that sales of the electric sedan in China will start in August.

Earlier, Kursiv Avto reported that the Geely Galaxy EX5 became more powerful and received a lidar after its update.
