Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and French President Emmanuel Macron attended an Indian education and ecosystem event in Nice. Macron and Modi also held bilateral talks in Beaulieu-sur-Mer.
Trump's discontent with allies over the Iran war is a key theme. The US president has criticized European allies for not supporting military action against Iran, which could lead to tense discussions at the summit.
