Kazakh low-cost carrier FlyArystan announced the launch of a direct flight from Astana to Yining (Kulja). The first flight is scheduled for October 28, 2026. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.

Flights will operate twice a week – on Wednesdays and Saturdays. According to the company, the new route will be FlyArystan's second destination to Yining. In May 2025, the airline was the first among Kazakh carriers to open direct air service on the Almaty – Yining (Kulja) route.

Based on the results of the first year, this route saw steady demand, and in 2026 the frequency of flights was increased to four times a week, the company noted.

The opening of the Astana – Yining flight continues the expansion of FlyArystan's international route network in China. In 2026, the airline resumed flights from Astana to Urumqi, and also opened routes Aktau – Urumqi, Almaty – Xi'an, and Almaty – Chongqing.
