The Bureau of National Statistics has released data on which regions of Kazakhstan saw fast food prices rise. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.

According to statisticians, in August 2026, fast food service prices increased by 0.1% in one month and by 10.2% in one year. Over the month, prices rose in the Turkistan region by 1.2%. In other regions, prices remained unchanged.

Annual growth indicators

Over the year, the highest price increases were felt by residents of Aktobe (23.0%) and Akmola (16.2%) regions, Pavlodar (15.7%), Turkistan (15.5%), and Atyrau (13.6%) regions. The lowest annual growth was recorded in Mangystau (1.4%) and Karaganda (4.0%) regions.
