European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen announced her arrival in Kyiv and will unveil new initiatives aimed at integrating the defense industries of the EU and Ukraine. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
"I am visiting Ukraine for the 11th time since the start of the conflict," she wrote on her X social media account.
According to von der Leyen, the visit will introduce new initiatives to integrate the defense industries of the EU and Ukraine.
"We will also discuss Ukraine's EU accession and preparations for the winter season," she said.
