The European Union has provided €231.5 billion in aid to Ukraine since the conflict began, the European Commission reported. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
"As Ukraine's largest supporter, the EU has allocated €231.5 billion," the statement said following a meeting of representatives from the EU, US, NATO and Ukraine held in Brussels on Wednesday.
The meeting focused on post-war reconstruction of Ukraine. Representatives from Germany, France, the UK and the World Bank also participated.
The parties discussed prospects for post-war economic development, implementation of reforms and attraction of private investment.
Earlier, the EU approved a €90 billion loan to Ukraine for 2026-2027. These funds are intended to cover approximately two-thirds of Kyiv's financial needs.
However, according to Politico, a significant portion of the funds promised by partners has not yet been allocated.
