The European Union wants to participate in Ukraine negotiations as part of a united Western and Ukrainian delegation against Russia, said Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
Earlier, EU foreign policy chief Kaja Kallas stated that Europe would not be a neutral mediator between Moscow and Kyiv because it supports Ukraine.
"Therefore, she admitted that Europe is trying to sit at the negotiating table as part of a united Western and Ukrainian delegation against Russia," Zakharova wrote in a commentary on the Foreign Ministry's website.
