A meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council in a narrow format is taking place in the city of Sholpan-Ata. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
The event is attended by the heads of government of Kazakhstan, Russia, Armenia and Kyrgyzstan. On August 7, the parties will hold a meeting in an expanded format with the participation of representatives of the EAEU observer states – Iran, Cuba and Uzbekistan.
According to the plan, the meeting participants will sign three agreements. They concern e-commerce in the EAEU, admission of brokers and dealers to exchange trading in the Union, and mutual recognition of academic degrees in the member states of the association.
