The Eurasia International Film Festival, which brought together over 700 filmmakers from 53 countries and featured more than 100 premiere screenings, is wrapping up in Sochi. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
According to Alena Arshinova, Chairwoman of the Council of Non-Governmental Organizations "Eurasia" and a State Duma deputy, cinema is becoming not only an art form but also an important tool for public diplomacy, strengthening trust, and developing cooperation between states.
The festival included over 100 premiere screenings. The closing ceremony was broadcast live. During the event, in an interview titled "We are all united by love for cinema," Gulnara Dosmatova spoke about the Eurasia Film Fest.
