This year in Kazakhstan, 55 teenagers have been detained for drug-related crimes. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.

According to law enforcement agencies, cases of drug distribution and use among minors have been recorded. Most teenagers were involved in selling drugs through social networks.

Experts urge parents to carefully monitor their children's behavior. Criminal liability for drug offenses begins at age 16, and in severe cases may apply from age 14.

The police urge citizens to report any information related to drug trafficking. Currently, investigative measures are being carried out against the detained teenagers.
