Spider-Man star Tom Holland admitted that he once decided to send a direct message to Norwegian footballer Erling Haaland, but the striker simply ignored him. The actor shared the funny story on Jimmy Fallon's show. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Kursiv Media.

According to Holland, he saw the Norway national team striker during the Monaco Grand Prix in June and decided to "try his luck."

"This is exactly the kind of case that is useful for any actor. You think: 'I'll write to him, invite him to dinner.' And in response — nothing at all," Holland joked.

The actor added that he did not even receive a polite refusal from the footballer.

"No excuse, no 'I'm busy,' no word. Nothing."

Despite this, Holland said he would still be happy to have dinner with the footballer. However, he joked that after Norway's recent defeat to England, he is not sure if Haaland himself would agree.

In response to host Jimmy Fallon's question, the actor called the Norwegian striker an "absolute legend" and admitted that he admires his game.

Earlier, Kursiv reported that Norway national team striker Erling Haaland brought an unusual souvenir from the US after finishing his performance at the 2026 World Cup.
