Vice-President Yerlan Karin proposed developing new tools for the Taza Qazaqstan initiative, including creating a unified digital platform, a national cleanliness standard, regional ratings and an online map of the country's greening. These issues were discussed at a meeting of the ideological council. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Kursiv Media.
The meeting was attended by heads of structural divisions of the Presidential Administration and relevant central government bodies.
Systemic promotion of constitutional values
One of the blocks was devoted to the systemic promotion of constitutional values. Karin noted that the principles enshrined in the Constitution form the basis of the strategic course of the President's reforms.
According to him, state policy should be aimed at ensuring the rule of law and order, strengthening national unity, interethnic and interfaith harmony, developing culture, education, science and innovation, caring for the environment, as well as promoting the cult of labor, social optimism and responsible patriotism.
Karin named the presidential decree "On approval of the main principles, values and directions of domestic policy of the Republic of Kazakhstan" and the action plan for promoting the Constitution as the main documents for the work of the state apparatus in this direction.
New public ethics
Separately, the meeting participants considered the formation of a new public ethics. The Vice-President stated the need to counter attempts to impose alien values and norms of behavior, the archaization of public life and the mythologization of history.
In this regard, he emphasized the importance of consistent implementation of the "Law and Order" principle, the Taza Qazaqstan project and the "Adal Azamat" education program. To further develop Taza Qazaqstan, it was proposed to create a unified digital platform, form regional ratings, introduce a national cleanliness standard and develop an online map of Kazakhstan's greening.
Strategic documents in domestic policy
Another block concerned the implementation of strategic documents in the field of domestic policy. Among them are the "Qazaqstan Balalary" Concept, the Concept for the development of state policy in the religious sphere, the Concept of state youth policy and the Concept of military-patriotic education of youth.
Karin also drew attention to the need to timely develop the "Reading Nation" Concept and a new Concept for the development of interethnic relations and public accord.
The Vice-President emphasized that national projects and initiatives should be integrated into the overall course of the country's modernization.
"It is necessary to continue systematization in the field of domestic policy – to consolidate uniform requirements, clear regulations and procedures. We must not slow down the pace or stop at what has been achieved; we must constantly move forward. Our common task is to effectively respond to citizens' requests, promote a constructive agenda and new constitutional values, and ensure high-quality and effective implementation of presidential initiatives," said Yerlan Karin.
Following the meeting, responsible state bodies were given instructions on the practical implementation of the main directions of domestic policy.
Earlier, Kursiv wrote that Kazakhstan will prepare a new Spelling Dictionary of the Kazakh language — the current version has not been updated since 2013. Yerlan Karin reported that the project would be developed by a special working group of authoritative scholars, after which the document would be reviewed and approved by an interdepartmental commission.
