"Initiatives aimed at resuming the negotiation process on Ukraine and creating conditions for its continuation may be included in the agenda of the Erdogan-Trump meeting in New York," the source told the agency.
Turkey supports a diplomatic settlement of the conflict and considers it necessary to maintain dialogue channels that contribute to achieving a sustainable peace.
"Ankara is ready to continue its efforts in this direction and to use its contacts with interested parties to facilitate the negotiation process," the source said.
According to him, Turkey is closely monitoring the progress of contacts on settling the situation in Ukraine and is ready to support diplomatic initiatives.
