98 applicants with special educational needs participated in the testing.

66 violations recorded

According to the ministry, 66 violations of the rules were recorded during the August ENT. 30 applicants were not admitted to the testing due to attempts to bring smartphones, cheat sheets, and other prohibited items. Another 36 people were removed from the classrooms for violations directly during the exam. No cases of impersonation were detected.

Video analysis to continue

The ministry reminded that the check does not end there. After the ENT is completed, video recordings of the testing will be analyzed until October 31. If specialists detect the use of prohibited items or other violations, the test results will be annulled.

Opportunities for college graduates

College graduates who want to continue their studies at a university in their specialty on a paid basis can enroll based on an interview. In this case, documents are accepted by university admissions committees.

The day before, during a government meeting, Minister of Science and Higher Education Sayasat Nurbek explained why excellent students in Kazakhstan remain without grants.
