In Kazakhstan, clinics will be assessed under a unified 100-point system, with rewards for a rating above 50 points. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
The Ministry of Health told Sputnik Kazakhstan about this. The assessment covers the following indicators: waiting time for a specialist, timeliness of diagnosis, follow-up after hospital discharge, screenings and vaccination coverage.
The assessment is carried out automatically, without human intervention. Incentive measures are currently being developed: if a medical organization scores more than 50 points and meets 70% of the main indicators, additional funding will be added to its contract with the Social Health Insurance Fund, which can be used for employee bonuses and equipment purchases.
Later, patient feedback will be taken into account: how clear the care was, whether the patient knew their diagnosis and treatment plan, and whether their condition improved.
14 days after each appointment, a survey is sent to the patient in eGov or the medical system.
