By decree of the Head of State, Alibek Kuantyrov has been appointed Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of Kazakhstan, and he has been relieved of his previous post. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
Previously, this position was held by Yerlan Nysanbayev.
Who is Alibek Kuantyrov?
Alibek Kuantyrov was born in 1983 in the city of Atyrau. He graduated from Tomsk State University and the University of Michigan, holding a master's degree in applied economics.
He is a member of the Presidential Youth Personnel Reserve.

He began his career in 2005 at the Ministry of Economy and Budget Planning as acting chief specialist.
