Access to the eGov.kz portal, the eGov Mobile application, and other state electronic services will be temporarily restricted in Kazakhstan on the night of July 19. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Kursiv Media.

Scheduled technical maintenance will take place on July 19 from 2:00 AM to 8:00 AM. The National Information Technologies JSC (NIT) explained that the time was chosen considering minimal user activity to reduce potential inconvenience.

NIT recommends that users complete all necessary operations in advance and prepare original documents that may be needed during the technical work.

The company noted that the update is being carried out to ensure stable and uninterrupted operation of the digital ecosystem of government services.

Earlier, independent researcher Zhanat Bubekbayeva from the CAPS Unlock analytical center tested the AI assistant of the eGov Mobile application in two languages and found that users systematically receive different information about fines depending on the language of the request.
