How to add trusted contacts in eGov in case you are hospitalized

If you are hospitalized and cannot contact your loved ones yourself, they may be sent a notification about your hospitalization. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Kursiv Media.

To do this, you need to pre-specify trusted contacts on eGov.kz or in the eGov Mobile app. The Ministry of Health explained how to use this function.

You can specify up to three trusted contacts.

In the eGov Mobile app, open "Government Services", then "Healthcare".

Next, select the trusted contacts registration service and enter the IIN of the person you need.

The trusted person must be over 18 years old and registered in the eGov database.

The service is free. It allows you to pre-identify the people who need to be notified if you are in a hospital and cannot contact them yourself.
