In Kazakhstan, it will be possible to open a bank card through the eGov Business app. This was announced at a government meeting by Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Development Zhaslan Madiyev. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
Currently, eGov Business offers services such as business registration, opening an account, obtaining licenses, business development, making changes to the company structure, and closing an individual entrepreneurship. Earlier this month, the app launched the ability to transfer a share in a business to trust management.
Corporate card issuance
In the near future, entrepreneurs will be able to apply for a corporate Visa bank card directly through the eGov Business app without visiting a bank and immediately add it to Apple Pay, Google Pay, or Samsung Pay. Card details will be available in the app. However, the platform does not store or see them – the bank and Visa are responsible for this, Madiyev said.
Smart Contract service
According to the minister, in September, the Smart Contract service will be launched in eGov Business. With its help, contracts and transactions, including agreements with contractors, can be certified with a digital signature and fully processed in electronic format. "No paper, no intermediaries needed," the minister said.
