The Eurasian Economic Commission Board has adopted a decision to temporarily suspend the anti-dumping measure concerning titanium dioxide produced in the People's Republic of China. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
This temporary period is set until 10 August 2027. An analysis of available information shows that there are grounds to suspend the previously applied anti-dumping measure in the interests of the Eurasian Economic Union countries.
"It was applied in the form of an anti-dumping duty. Depending on the producer, the duty ranged from 14.27% to 16.25% of the customs value of imported products. In addition, the mechanism included price commitments for producers and exporters," the EEC reported.
Previously, the anti-dumping measure on titanium dioxide supplied from China was established by EEC Board Decision No. 96 of 14 October 2025.
The decision enters into force 10 calendar days after the date of its official publication.
