Minister for Integration and Macroeconomics of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) Daniyar Imanaliev and Brazilian Foreign Minister Mauro Vieira discussed cooperation between the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union and Brazil on the sidelines of the BRICS business forum. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.

According to Imanaliev, Brazil is one of the largest economies in Latin America and a key partner of the Eurasian Economic Union within BRICS.

"We are ready to discuss promising formats for developing a systematic dialogue, as well as interaction through MERCOSUR and the Leningrad Regional Economic Association, with which the Eurasian Economic Union has officially established a dialogue," he said.

Mauro Vieira expressed Brazil's readiness to develop a memorandum of cooperation with the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC), as well as great interest in developing trade and economic cooperation with each EAEU country.

Daniyar Imanaliev invited partners to take part in the VI Eurasian Economic Forum, which will be held in Bishkek in May 2027.
