"Working at KCSD has been an important professional stage for me. Over five years, together with the team, we implemented projects that expanded the capabilities of Kazakhstan's capital market and strengthened international ties and the regional role of the Central Depository," Medeu noted.
The Central Securities Depository is the main financial organization that stores securities electronically and keeps records of who owns them.
In simple terms, it is a reliable bank for stocks, bonds, and other assets. When you buy a security on the exchange, the record that it is yours appears exactly in the Central Depository.
Earlier, Kursiv reported that transactions of Kazakhstanis with securities would be brought under control.
