In Kyrgyzstan, an expanded meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council was held, attended by heads of government of the EAEU countries and observer states. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.

During the event, three important agreements were signed:

  • 01**Agreement on electronic trade in goods** – aimed at protecting the interests of both sellers and buyers.
  • 02**Agreement on admission of brokers and dealers from one EAEU member state to organized trading on exchanges of other union countries**.
  • 03**Agreement on mutual recognition of academic degrees**.

Also, the heads of government heard reports on food security, formation of common markets for oil and oil products, product traceability system, digitalization of cargo transportation, climate agenda, and competition in cross-border markets.

Earlier, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin called on EAEU countries to combine production capacities and raw material bases to unlock their industrial potential. And Kazakhstan's Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov reported that in 2026, trade turnover of the union's member states is projected to grow to 102 billion US dollars.

The next meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council will be held in Minsk in autumn.
