Arzybek Kozhoshev, Minister of Energy and Infrastructure of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC), proposed at the 6th meeting of energy ministers of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) member states to create a permanent energy dialogue platform between the EAEU, SCO and CIS. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.

"Our agendas are largely aligned. They include energy security, stability of energy systems, integration of energy markets, digitalization of the industry, and implementation of joint infrastructure projects. Therefore, there is a need for a permanent and meaningful dialogue between our international organizations," said Arzybek Kozhoshev.

According to him, such a dialogue will be beneficial for the organizations, avoid duplication of events, accelerate the development of joint solutions, and give additional impetus to energy cooperation.
