Kazakh Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov said that in 2026 the mutual trade turnover of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) countries is expected to reach $102 billion. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.

According to Bektenov, this forecast is based on the economic development rates of the EAEU member states and the positive dynamics of integration processes. He also stressed the importance of further strengthening trade and economic cooperation within the union.

It should be recalled that the EAEU includes Kazakhstan, Russia, Belarus, Armenia, and Kyrgyzstan. The main goal of the organization is to ensure the free movement of goods, services, capital, and labor, as well as to pursue coordinated policies.
