The foreign trade turnover between the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) countries and Peru has reached $679.2 million. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.

According to the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC), the volume of mutual trade between the EAEU and Peru increased significantly in 2025. Exports accounted for the largest share, mainly consisting of mineral products, machinery and equipment, and chemical products. Imports mainly consisted of agricultural products, including fruits and seafood.

EEC experts attribute the growth in trade turnover to the expansion of economic cooperation between the EAEU and Peru. The union countries are interested in strengthening relations with Peru to access the Latin American market. Work in this direction continues, and further increases in trade turnover are planned in the future.

In addition, EEC representatives are considering the possibility of developing new agreements and projects to enhance trade and economic cooperation between the EAEU and Peru. This will benefit both sides and contribute to deepening regional integration.
