Member of the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) for Integration and Macroeconomics Daniyar Imanaliyev and Minister of National Planning, Investment and Foreign Economic Relations of Myanmar Aung Kyaw Htwe held a meeting. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
During the event, prospects for organizing business forums, business missions, and exhibitions were discussed with the aim of increasing mutual exchange of information on business conditions between the EAEU countries and Myanmar.
"We observe a high mutual interest in exchanging experience in the areas of customs regulation, food security, industrial development, energy, transport, and infrastructure. There is also a desire for cooperation in the field of innovation economy and the use of artificial intelligence," said the EEC representative.
Special attention was paid to the issue of holding the next meeting of the joint working group between the EEC and the government of Myanmar.
