The Interim Trade Agreement between the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU), its member states, and Mongolia entered into force on July 22, 2026. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
In this regard, new codes for customs declaration of goods are being introduced for participants in foreign economic activity. This was announced by the press service of the Eurasian Economic Commission.
Under the agreement, a new code "ME" is provided for applying tariff preferences to goods originating from Mongolia or an EAEU member state and imported into the customs territory of the Union. Additionally, code "06022" is introduced to reflect information about the certificate of origin in the EAM form.
The relevant decision of the EEC Board enters into force 30 calendar days after its official publication.
