EAEU countries are ready to switch to electronic permits for international freight transportation. This was stated by Kazakhstan's Minister of Trade and Integration Arman Shakkaliev at the Kurultai meeting. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
On October 15, a pilot project for the issuance and exchange of paperless electronic permits was launched in Astana.
This innovation will simplify the verification of transport documents and speed up the passage of goods across EAEU borders.
Additionally, cooperation tools within the EAEU were presented at the World Investment Forum.
