Legendary Jackie Chan has arrived in Mangystau. The famous actor came to the Mangystau region specifically to participate in the filming of the international feature film 'Armour of God: Ultimatum'. One of the main filming locations will be the Bozzhyra gorge. Jackie Chan was greeted by the regional governor Nurdaulyet Kilybai. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
He noted that such large-scale international projects give a huge impetus to increasing the region's tourism potential, attracting investment, and strengthening Mangystau's global recognition. "Jackie Chan expressed gratitude for the warm welcome and noted that Mangystau's natural landscapes have unique cinematic potential and will become one of the most striking episodes of the future film," the official information channel of the Mangystau region said.
It is worth noting that the 'Armour of God: Ultimatum' project is being implemented with the support of the Ministry of Culture and Information. The film is being produced by the Kazakh company Sәlem Entertainment.
