Russian media personality Diana Shurygina has been sent to a pre-trial detention center. This decision was made by the Troitsky District Court of Moscow (Russia), which granted the investigators' request. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Kursiv Media.
Shurygina is a defendant in a criminal case involving the illegal production and distribution of pornographic materials. According to the Telegram channel "Baza," Shurygina violated the terms of her house arrest by using a mobile phone, prompting investigators to ask the court to tighten the preventive measure. The court ordered her to be held in custody for at least 11 days.
Earlier, two other defendants in the same case — porn actress Anastasia Ovsyannikova and German producer Ludwig Krichker — were placed under house arrest.
Diana Shurygina gained widespread fame in 2017 after appearing on the program "Let Them Talk" on Channel One (Russia). At that time, she claimed to have been a victim of rape, and the story sparked widespread public outcry and discussion across Russia.
