Deputies of the Kurultai have been banned from saying words unrelated to work during sessions. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
According to deputy Snezhana Imasheva, previously there was no such restriction in the Mazhilis regulations. But in the Kurultai it is enshrined by the regulations.
"Nothing concerning personal matters can be said, one is allowed to speak only within the scope of one's powers," Imasheva said at today's briefing.
According to her, not only at Kurultai sessions, but also during meetings of its working consultative bodies, it is forbidden to raise issues unrelated to deputy powers.
What punishment is envisaged
Measures will be applied to deputies who violate the Kurultai regulations. They are:
- 01a warning;
- 02being obliged to apologize;
- 03a ban on speaking at one Kurultai session;
- 04a ban on speaking at three Kurultai sessions;
- 05expulsion of a deputy from one or two Kurultai sessions.
And the harshest penalty is deprivation of one day's salary.
