Kurultai deputy Nurbakyt Tenizbayev has sent a parliamentary inquiry to the government. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
At today's session, Tenizbayev raised the issue of supplying natural gas to the Almaty and Zhetisu regions. In both regions the necessary documents are ready and two important projects have been developed.
"However, there is a risk that the implementation of these projects will be prolonged. The conclusion of the state expert review on the project and estimate documentation was obtained in 2024. If the deadlines for considering these projects within the framework of state programs are delayed, this will lead to the documentation becoming outdated and to the need to amend it and undergo the expert review again. This, in turn, will lead to the project becoming several times more expensive and not being completed within the established deadlines," Tenizbayev said.
In this regard, the deputy drew attention to several important issues:
- 01phased implementation of the gasification projects developed in the Almaty and Zhetisu regions within the state development plan before their technical documentation becomes outdated;
- 02inclusion of the "Shelek-Kegen-Narynkol" main gas pipeline and the infrastructure required for it among projects of strategic importance;
- 03inclusion of the "Zhana Ile" AGS project in the region's infrastructure development plan, taking into account the intensive development of the city of Konaev.
