Kazakhstanis will not pay a 5% tax on income from deposits, the Ministry of National Economy stated. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
Earlier, information appeared on social networks that Kazakhstanis would be obliged to pay a 5% tax on income from bank deposits.
The ministry reported that interest on deposits of individuals is not taxed, and the government does not plan to introduce such a tax.
