Premium brand Denza, set to debut in Kazakhstan in the second half of the year, has revealed details about its flagship model. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Kursiv Media.

According to Kursiv Avto, the brand's first model will be the hybrid Denza B8 SUV, which accelerates to 100 km/h in less than five seconds.

The Denza B8 is a full-size SUV with a length of 5,195 mm and a wheelbase of 2,920 mm. According to the official distributor of BYD in Kazakhstan, the model will be available with two interior configurations: six or seven seats.

The vehicle is built on a ladder frame platform and equipped with the proprietary DMO hybrid system. It includes a 2.0-liter turbo engine producing 194 hp and two electric motors. The SUV accelerates to 100 km/h in just 4.8 seconds.

The electric motors are powered by a 36.8 kWh battery. On electric power alone, the Denza B8 can travel up to 115 km on the NEDC cycle, and the battery can be recharged via fast charging in approximately 16 minutes.

In addition to all-wheel drive, the model features an intelligent hydraulic suspension system DiSus-P with adjustable ground clearance and shock absorber stiffness. The Intelligent U-Turn system is also included, which helps maneuver in tight spaces by controlling the electric motors.

**Equipment for Kazakhstan** A fully localized version will be prepared for the local market, featuring a multimedia system and voice control in Kazakh and Russian, as well as support for the proprietary mobile app. Buyers will be offered five body colors and two interior design options.

Official prices have not yet been disclosed. In China, the model, known as the Fang Cheng Bao Leopard 8, costs between 380,000 and 424,000 yuan (approximately 26.8–30 million tenge).

Considering taxes, logistics, and BYD's pricing policy in Kazakhstan, the Denza B8 is expected to cost around 35–40 million tenge. In this case, the model will be able to compete with large premium frame SUVs.

Earlier, Kursiv Avto reported that the Denza B8 had received OTC certification and was preparing for an official launch in the Kazakh market. It also became known what the new BYD Atto 8 for Kazakhstan will look like.
