Health Minister Akmaral Alnazarova, following the presidential address, said who exactly will receive a salary increase. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
Tokayev in this year's address instructed to increase salaries of primary care specialists by up to 40% depending on continuous service length.
According to Health Minister Akmaral Alnazarova, the specialists mentioned by the president do not stay in one place today. As a result, within a year the turnover of primary care specialists in medical organizations reached 50%.
«For example, a primary care doctor and a primary care nurse have a lot of work, they go to homes, visit their area. To be honest, it is very hard psychologically and emotionally. In this regard, an instruction was given to increase the bonus for continuous service. Continuous service is needed, this way we ensure stable work of a specialist in one area,» Alnazarova said at today's government meeting.
According to the minister, the bonus for continuous service will also be paid to social workers and patronage nurses. «We are currently working on new amendments with deputies,» Alnazarova noted.
Amounts of the additional payment: - for continuous service of more than 2 years — 20% of the official salary; - for service of more than 3 years — 30%; - for service of more than 5 years — 50%.
Thus, after the introduction of the additional payment for continuous service, the salary of general practitioners with the longest service in rural areas, taking into account the additional payment, may reach 760 thousand tenge, and in cities — 607 thousand tenge.
