A judicial panel of the Karaganda Regional Court has left unchanged the verdict against Saida Yeleusinova — the wife of Olympic boxing champion Daniyar Yeleusinov. The woman was found guilty of battery against two victims. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Kursiv Media.
Circumstances of the case
According to court materials, the conflict occurred on January 27, 2026, at around 21:10. Yeleusinova came to the apartment of two women to clarify the circumstances of an insult to her grandfather. During the quarrel, she inflicted battery on the victims and committed other violent acts that caused them physical pain.
Court ruling
The court of first instance found the woman guilty under point 1 of part 2 of Article 109-1 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan and imposed a fine of 100 MCI — 432,500 tenge.
In addition, Yeleusinova was ordered to pay each victim 500,000 tenge as compensation for moral damages. Another 1 million tenge was recovered from her to cover the cost of legal representation.
Appeal
The defense lawyer of the convicted woman attempted to appeal the decision, but the appeal did not change the punishment.
"The judicial panel, having reviewed in appellate order the criminal case received on the appeal of the defense lawyer of the convicted person, left the verdict of the court of first instance unchanged," the Karaganda Regional Court reported.
Thus, the verdict of the court of first instance has entered into legal force.
