The Interdistrict Court for Administrative Offenses of Astana has sentenced Daniyar Yeleussinov, who fled after hitting several cars. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.

The Olympic champion drove while intoxicated and committed three road accidents: hitting a support pillar of an underground parking gate; colliding with another car, which then hit another car by inertia; colliding with a Kia Sportage, which then hit a Toyota Hilux. The boxer caused material damage to all car owners.

His guilt was proven by case materials, including a medical examination report. According to the report, Yeleussinov had a mild degree of alcohol intoxication. He also pleaded guilty. The court sentenced him to 20 days of administrative arrest and a 7-year driving ban.
