The funeral procession in the normally bustling Midan neighborhood carried the coffins of Fathi Muhammad Saeed Qabbani and other victims. Qabbani was killed Tuesday when an explosive device detonated in a cafe near Damascus' main courthouse complex.
Syrian officials have promised to bring those responsible to justice. The investigation is ongoing.
