Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Population Askarbek Yertayev announced the start of introducing a digital employment service. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
According to the minister, the main principle of the new model is that a person does not look for work, but work finds the person itself. Previously, citizens independently searched for vacancies on the portal and went to career centers. Now the system itself identifies citizens in need of work in accordance with the needs of employers.
The system sends SMS messages to unemployed citizens via the eGov and Enbek.kz mobile applications or via number 1414. In addition, they are offered training courses, retraining, or relocation. As a result, the citizen is provided with support services until they find permanent employment.
Currently, the system has been introduced in pilot mode in the Pavlodar region. There, 39 thousand SMS messages on employment were sent. Since July, 962 people have been employed. In September, it is planned to introduce the digital system in the Mangystau region. And by the end of the year, the system will be launched in all regions.
A similar system will also be available to citizens through the Aitu mobile application. An AI assistant will select suitable vacancies and training courses.
