In Kazakhstan, as a result of digital analysis based on medical indicators, the use of more than 10,000 driver's licenses has been terminated. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
According to the government, the integration of information systems of the Ministry of Health, the Prosecutor General's Office and the Ministry of Internal Affairs makes it possible to identify citizens with medical contraindications to driving a vehicle.
Thus, as a result of digitalization of data exchange, the use of driver's licenses of more than 10,000 people has been terminated.
"This work will continue in the future. The list of diseases that prohibit driving a vehicle includes eight types of nosologies," said Vice Minister of Health Yerbol Ospanov.
The process of medical examination when obtaining a driver's license has also been digitalized. The medical certificate has been transferred to electronic format, and the conclusions of the medical commission are displayed in information systems.
