In the Brazil-Scotland match, Vinicius Junior scored a brace, and Matheus Cunha added another goal. At the 76th minute, forward Neymar came on the pitch, playing his first match for Brazil since 2023. Brazil collected seven points and advanced to the playoffs from first place in the group.

In the Morocco-Haiti game, goals were scored by Achraf Hakimi, Ismael Saibari, Soufiane Rahimi, and Guessim Yassim. For Haiti, former Zenit Saint Petersburg striker Wilson Isidor scored, and another goal was recorded as an own goal by Moroccan goalkeeper Yassine Bounou. Haiti scored their first goals at World Cups in the 21st century; the last time they did so was 52 years ago, at the 1974 World Cup. Morocco finished the group stage with seven points and advanced to the playoffs from second place in the group.

Thus, Brazil and Morocco each earned seven points and advanced to the playoffs. Scotland (three points) finished third in the group and still has a chance to reach the round of 16 based on group stage results. Haiti finished last, in fourth place, and ended their tournament participation.

The 2026 World Cup is being held in the United States, Canada, and Mexico from June 11 to July 19. The reigning world champion is Argentina.
