Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov discussed prospects for cooperation in artificial intelligence and IT with Balaji Srinivasan, founder of the international tech community Network School. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
During the meeting, a concept was proposed to create the Network City tech hub in Burabay village, in collaboration with the local administration and community. The tech park is to be named Network City and built without state funding. The project aims to attract IT specialists, and the experience of the tech city is planned to be expanded in Alatau city. Network School and the Ministry of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Development agreed on launching the project in Kazakhstan on July 21, 2026.
