Construction of a modern international-level congress center has begun in the Akmola region. The construction of the multifunctional congress center was launched by regional akim Marat Akhmetzhanov. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
The new facility will become a modern platform for holding international forums, business meetings, exhibitions and large-scale cultural events.
«This is one of the first facilities to be built under the «Halyktyk Qurylys» program. Burabay is among the three priority centers for tourism development in Kazakhstan and has a unique natural potential. Today it is important not only to preserve its attractiveness as a holiday destination, but also to create new infrastructure that will allow receiving guests all year round,» said Akhmetzhanov.
The new complex will also play a special role in the development of MICE tourism. The emergence of such a large-scale venue will make it possible to attract international organizations, business communities and professional associations to the region.
