The meeting is scheduled for 12:00 Astana time. The topic is "Maintenance of peace and security in Ukraine." The Council meeting was requested by the Ukrainian side.

Previously, an emergency meeting of the UN Security Council was convened on July 9, 2026. Additionally, on June 8, 2026, a meeting of the UN Security Council was also held at the request of the Ukrainian side.
