According to court materials, the couple remarried after divorce and lived in the same house. Last year, a domestic conflict arose between them.
At that time, the defendant struck his wife in the face several times. He also broke the arm of the victim, who lost consciousness, the court statement said.
When the woman wanted to seek medical help, another conflict occurred. The defendant insulted her, humiliating her honor and dignity.
Previously, the city court sentenced the rowdy to 1 year in prison. He appealed the court act, asking for acquittal.
The appellate panel, having studied the case materials, left the first-instance verdict unchanged. The court acts have entered into legal force.
